there is a configuration error associated with the configured connection.
The error may be wrong partition ID or possibly even wrong service host name

To make changes to the remote console, you must first delete and then recreate
the remote console connection.

Answer BOOTP is
the option that allows the system administrator to determine which configuration
for a given PC would supply the IP data to the server. New servers or logical
partitions attempting to use a local console on a network might be using BOOTP.
If more than one PC or configuration is allowed to supply the data, the first
PC to respond to the broadcast packet will supply this data. By controlling
which PC should supply this data may allow the administrator additional flexibility.
For more information regarding BOOTP, see: Prepare for your network environment.

An
IP address may be supplied for the console when using a directly attached

is to provide the user with a convenient method when the default address is
already in use on the PC.
