<div><p>Complete this task to check the status and other attributes of
|
|
your active connections.</p>
|
|
<div class="section">To view the current attributes of an active or on-demand connection,
|
|
follow these steps:</div>
|
|
<ol><li><span>In<span class="keyword">iSeries™ Navigator</span>, expand
|
|
your <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">server</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Network</span> > <span class="uicontrol">IP Policies</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Virtual Private Networking</span> > <span class="uicontrol"> Secure Connections</span></span></span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">All Connections</span> to display a list
|
|
of connections in the right pane.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Right-click the active or on-demand connection that you want to
|
|
view and select <span class="uicontrol">Properties</span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Go to the <span class="uicontrol">Current Attributes</span> page to view
|
|
the attributes of the connection.</span></li>
|
|
</ol>

|
<div class="section"><p>You can also view the attributes of all connections from the <span class="keyword">iSeries Navigator</span> window. By default,
|
|
the only attributes that display are Status, Description, and Connection Type.
|
|
You can change what data displays by following these steps:</p>
|
|
<ol><li>In <span class="keyword">iSeries Navigator</span>, expand your <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">server</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Network</span> > <span class="uicontrol">IP Policies</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Virtual Private Networking</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Secure Connections</span></span></li>
|
|
<li>Click <span class="uicontrol">All Connections</span> to display a list of connections
|
|
in the right pane.</li>
|
|
<li>From the <span class="uicontrol">Objects</span> menu, select <span class="uicontrol">Columns</span>.
|
|
This opens a dialog box which allows you to select which attributes you want
|
|
to display in the <span class="keyword">iSeries Navigator</span> window.</li>
|
|
</ol>
|
|
<p>Be aware that when you change the columns to view, the changes are
|
|
not specific to a particular user or PC, but rather, are system-wide.</p>
|
|
