<div><p>You can use iSeries™ Navigator to restore all of your configuration
data.</p>
<div class="section"><p>This function is used when all of the secondary partitions on
your iSeries are
running a guest operating system and you have saved the configuration data
to a file on the computer running iSeries Navigator. This procedure is
part of a full server recovery. </p>
<p>If the configuration data on your server has been cleared, you should
use this function to regain access to the saved configuration data created
when you completed the task save all configuration data.</p>
<p>To restore
all configuration data using My Connections, follow these steps:</p>

<ol><li><span>In iSeries Navigator,
expand <span class="uicontrol">My Connections</span> or your active environment.</span></li>
<li><span>Select the primary partition of the system.</span></li>
<li><span><span class="uicontrol">Configuration and Service</span> Expand and select <span class="uicontrol">Logical
Partitions</span>.</span></li>
<li><span>Right-click the <span class="uicontrol">Logical Partition</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Configure
Partitions</span>. You are now working in the Configure Logical Partitions
window.</span></li>
<li><span>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">Physical System</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Recovery</span> and <span class="uicontrol">Restore
All Configuration Data</span>.</span></li>
</ol>
<div class="section"><p>Once the primary partition completes its restart, continue with

<p>To restore all configuration
data using the service tools window, follow these steps:</p>
<ol><li>In iSeries Navigator,
select <span class="uicontrol">My Connections</span> or your active environment.</li>
<li>Select <span class="uicontrol">Open iSeries Navigator service tools window</span> in
the Taskpad window. If the Taskpad window is not displayed, select <span class="uicontrol">View</span> and
select <span class="uicontrol">Taskpad</span>.</li>
<li>Enter the <span class="uicontrol">IP address</span> of the service tool network
interface to which you want to connect. Click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span>.</li>
<li>You will be prompted for your <span class="uicontrol">Service Tools User ID and password</span>.</li>
<li>Expand the system name select <span class="uicontrol">Logical Partitions</span>.</li>
<li>Right-click the logical partition and select <span class="uicontrol">Configure Partitions</span>.
You are now working in the Configure Logical Partitions window.</li>
<li>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">Physical System</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Recovery</span> and <span class="uicontrol">Restore
All configuration Data</span>.</li>

<li>Expand <span class="uicontrol">Systems with Partitions</span>.</li>
<li>Select the physical system that has the logical partition with which you
want to work.</li>
<li>Right-click the physical system and select <span class="uicontrol">Configure Partitions</span>.
You are now working in the Configure Logical Partitions window.</li>
<li>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">Physical System</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Recovery</span> and <span class="uicontrol">Restore
All Configuration Data</span> .</li>
</ol>
