|
|
<p>Knowing the causes of common LDAP client errors can help you to solve problems
|
|
with your server. For a complete list of LDAP client error conditions, see
|
|
the "<a href="../apis/dirserv1.htm">Directory Server APIs</a>" topic under Programming
|
|
in the iSeries Information Center.</p>
|
|
<p>The client error messages have the following format:</p>
|
|

<div class="notebody">The explanation of these errors assumes that the client is

communicating with an LDAP server on i5/OS. A client communicating with a
|
|
server on a different platform might get similar errors, but the causes and
|
|
resolutions would most likely be different.</div>
