<h3 id="rzahqintpi">Configure i5/OS TCP/IP for integrated Windows servers</h3>
<p>When you install Windows environment for iSeries&trade;, you have the option of using values
that you specified in the i5/OS&trade; TCP/IP configuration as default values
to configure your integrated server. If you want to take this option and do
not already have TCP/IP configured, you must configure it before installing IBM&reg; i5/OS Integrated Server Support. You also need to add your gateway address
to i5/OS. For more information about configuring TCP/IP, see the <a href="../rzai2/rzai2kickoff.htm">TCP/IP</a> topic.</p>
<p>If you have iSeries Navigator installed, you can use it to configure
your TCP/IP connections. The iSeries Navigator online help tells you how
to configure TCP/IP. If you do not have iSeries Navigator installed, follow these steps:</p>
<ol type="1">
<li>On the i5/OS console, enter the command <tt>CFGTCP</tt> and
press Enter. The <tt>Configure TCP/IP</tt> menu appears.</li>
<li>Select option 12 <tt>Change TCP/IP Domain information</tt> and press Enter. The <tt>Change TCP/IP Domain (CHGTCPDMN)</tt> display appears.</li>
<li>Specify the <tt>Local domain name</tt> from the <a href="rzahqinwrf.htm#rzahqinwrf">Installation worksheet for i5/OS parameters</a>.</li>
<li>In the <tt>Domain name server</tt> field, specify up
to 3 IP addresses from the <a href="rzahqadvisor1.htm">Windows server installation
advisor</a> or from the <a href="rzahqinwrf.htm#rzahqinwrf">Installation worksheet for i5/OS parameters</a>; then press Enter.
<p>To add your gateway IP address to i5/OS:</p></li>
<li>From the <tt>Configure TCP/IP</tt> menu, choose option
2 <tt>Work with TCP/IP routes</tt>. The <tt>Work with TCP/IP Routes</tt> display appears.</li>
<li>Type 1 in the Option field to add a TCP/IP route. The <tt>Add TCP/IP Route</tt> display appears.</li>
<li>Fill in the appropriate fields with the information for your gateway address.</li></ol>
