<h2 id="rzahqdlppi">Delete the IBM i5/OS Integrated Server Support, i5/OS option 29 (5722&ndash;SS1)</h2>
<p><img src="delta.gif" alt="Start of change" />If you remove all integrated Windows and non-partition Linux&reg; servers
from your iSeries and do not plan to reinstall others, you may also want to
remove IBM i5/OS Integrated Server Support, Option 29 from i5/OS. Removing
the program frees the storage space it occupied on i5/OS.<img src="deltaend.gif" alt="End of change" /></p>

<dt class="bold"><span class="bold">Note:</span></dt>
<dd>Removing the program does not automatically delete existing network
server descriptions or user-defined disk drives. However, it does render them
unusable. You can find information about deleting network server descriptions
and disk drives in <a href="rzahquinpo.htm#rzahquinpo">Uninstall the Windows server operating system from the integrated server
hardware</a>.

<p>To delete IBM i5/OS Integrated Server Support, follow these steps:</p>
<ol type="1">
<li>On i5/OS, type the command <tt>GO LICPGM</tt> and press
Enter.</li>
<li>Choose option <tt>12</tt> from the <tt>Work with Licensed Programs</tt> menu and press Enter.</li>
<li><img src="delta.gif" alt="Start of change" />Page down the list of licensed programs until you see the description <tt>Integrated Server Support</tt><img src="deltaend.gif" alt="End of change" /></li>
<li>Type <tt>4</tt> in the <tt>Option</tt> field to the left of the option. Press Enter, and i5/OS deletes the
option.</li></ol>
