<h3 id="rzahqcpypi">Copy a disk drive</h3>
<p>You can create a new integrated Windows server disk drive (network server
storage space) by copying data from an existing disk drive.</p>
<p>To copy a disk drive, follow these steps:</p>
<ol type="1">
<li>Expand <span class="bold">Integrated Server Administration</span> &mdash;> <span class="bold">All Virtual Disks</span>.</li>
<li>Select a disk drive from the list available.</li>
<li>Right-click the disk drive and select <span class="bold">New Based On</span> or
click the appropriate icon on the iSeries&trade; Navigator toolbar.</li>
<li>Specify a disk drive name and description.</li>
<li>Specify the disk capacity. See the online help for details on valid disk
sizes associated with a particular file system format. If you want to increase
the size of the disk while copying it, you can specify a larger size. The
extended portion of the disk will be unpartitioned free space.

<li>Select a disk pool (auxiliary storage pool) to contain the disk.</li>
<li>Click <span class="bold">OK</span>.</li></ol>
