<h5 id="neten1">Change the network attributes (New York) in multiple-system network</h5>
<p>The Change Network Attributes (CHGNETA) command is used to set the attributes
for the system within the network. The following attributes are defined for
NEWYORK, and these attributes apply to all connections in the network for
this end node: </p>

<dt class="bold">LCLNETID(APPN)</dt>
<dd>Specifies that the name of the local network is APPN. The remote location
(MINNEAPOLIS in the example, NN2 in the <a href="rzahjexd.htm#multi2">Figure 8</a>) must specify
this name as the remote network identifier (RMTNETID) on the CRTCTLAPPC command.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">LCLCPNAME(NEWYORK)</dt>
<dd>Specifies that the name assigned to the local control point is NEWYORK.
The remote systems specify this name as the remote control point name (RMTCPNAME)
on the CRTCTLAPPC command.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">LCLLOCNAME(NEWYORK)</dt>
<dd>The default local location name is NEWYORK. This name will be used for
the device description that is created by the APPN support.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">NODETYPE(*ENDNODE)</dt>
<dd>Specifies that the local system (NEWYORK) is an APPN end node.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">NETSERVER((APPN CHICAGO)</dt>
<dd>Specifies that network nodes CHICAGO (NN1) and MPLS (NN2) are both potential
network node servers for this end point. Both network node servers are in
the same (APPN) network.
