<div><p>Messages help you track your system's problems and user activities.</p>

<div class="section"> <p>To help you organize system messages, you can print the specific
|
|
messages that refer to the current problem that you are handling.</p>

<p>To

print specific messages one at a time from the message queue,
|
|
follow these steps:</p>
|
|

<ol><li><span>Enter the Work with Messages (<span class="cmdname">WRKMSG</span>) command,
|
|
at the command line.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Press F4 to prompt.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>In the message queue parameter field, enter the name of the message
|
|
queue that contains the messages that you want to print.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Press Enter to continue.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>(Optional) If you do not have your Assistance Level specified as
|
|
Basic, press F21. Select option <span class="uicontrol">1=Basic</span>. If you do
|
|
not have your system set to the basic assistance level, you cannot display
|
|
the message details.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>To display the message that you want to print, enter <kbd class="userinput">5</kbd> (Display
|
|
details) and reply in the Options column.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>To print the message, press F6.</span></li>
|
|
</ol>
