<div><p>The programs listed in the <em>Install Licensed Programs</em> display
are those supported by the LICPGM installation when your server was new. Occasionally,
new programs become available which are not listed as licensed programs on
your server. If this is the case with the program you want to install, you
must use the Restore Licensed Program (RSTLICPGM) command to install it.</p>
<div class="section"><p>To install a licensed program with the Restore Licensed Program
(RSTLICPGM) command, follow these steps:</p>

<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Put the tape or CD-ROM containing the licensed program in the appropriate
drive.</span></li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>On the iSeries™ command line, type: </span> <p>RSTLICPGM</p>
<p>and
press the Enter key.</p>
<p>The <em>Restore Licensed Program (RSTLICPGM)</em> display
appears.</p>
</li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>In the <em>Product</em> field, type the ID number of the licensed
program you want to install.</span></li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>In the <em>Device</em> field, specify your install device. </span> <p><strong>Note:</strong> If you are installing from a tape drive, the device
ID is usually in the format <strong>TAP<em>xx</em></strong>, where <strong><em>xx</em></strong> is
a number, like <strong>01</strong>.</p>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Keep the default settings for the other parameters in the <em>Restore
Licensed Program</em> display. Press the Enter key.</span></li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>More parameters appear. Keep these default settings also. Press
the Enter key. The program begins installing.</span></li>
</ol>
<div class="section"><p>When the licensed program is finished installing, the <em>Restore
Licensed Programs</em> display appears again.</p>
