QNETWARE user profile

The QNETWARE user profile on iSeries and NetWare enables iSeries user enrollment
to NetWare. Therefore, you must create a QNETWARE user object in the bindery in each NDS tree that you want to manage from iSeries.
The QNETWARE user object must have ADMIN authority to be able to create objects
and to manage passwords in the network. Although doing so is not prohibited,
you should not use the QNETWARE user object to log in to NetWare from a client
workstation.

When you install NetWare Enhanced Integration, iSeries automatically creates the QNETWARE user profile
in the disabled state. It is not allowed to run iSeries jobs; QNETWARE's only
purpose is to enroll iSeries users and to extend iSeries profile information
to NetWare.

iSeries uses the QNETWARE user profile to log on to each NetWare server, as
in the figure below. iSeries then communicates with the NetWare Enhanced Integration NLM, sending
the commands necessary to enroll iSeries users and to update group and user
profile information in the network.
