<div><p>The types of object authority include object operational authority,

object management authority, and object existence authority.</p>
|
|
<p><strong>Object operational authority</strong> for a library gives the user authority
|
|
to display the description of a library.</p>
|
|
<p><strong>Object management authority</strong> for a library includes authority to:
|
|
</p>
|
|
<ul><li>Grant and revoke authority. You can only grant and revoke authorities
|
|
that you have. Only the object owner or a user with *ALLOBJ authority can
|
|
grant object management authority for a library.</li>
|
|
<li>Rename the library.</li>
|
|
</ul>
|
|
<p><strong>Object existence authority</strong> and <strong>use authority</strong> gives the user
|
|
authority to delete a library.</p>
|
|
<p><strong>Object existence authority</strong> and <strong>object operational authority</strong> gives
|
|
the user authority to transfer ownership of the library.</p>
