<div><p>The types of combined authority include *USE authority, *CHANGE
|
|
authority, *ALL authority, and *EXCLUDE authority.</p>
|
|
<p><strong>*USE authority</strong> for a library (consisting of object operational authority,
|
|
read authority, and execute authority) includes authority to: </p>
|
|
<ul><li>Use a library to find an object</li>
|
|
<li>Display library contents</li>
|
|
<li>Place a library in the library list</li>
|
|
<li>Save a library (if sufficient authority to the object)</li>
|
|
<li>Delete objects from the library (if the user is authorized to the object
|
|
in the library)</li>
|
|
</ul>
|
|
<p><strong>*CHANGE authority</strong> for a library (consisting of object operational
|
|
authority and all data authorities to the library) includes authority to:
|
|
</p>
|
|
<ul><li>Use a library to find an object</li>
|
|
<li>Display library contents</li>
|
|
<li>Place a library in the library list</li>
|
|
<li>Save a library (if sufficient authority to the object)</li>
|
|
<li>Delete objects from the library (if the user is authorized to the object
|
|
in the library)</li>
|
|
<li>Add objects to the library.</li>
|
|
</ul>
|
|
<p><strong>*ALL authority</strong> provides all object authorities and data authorities.
|
|
The user can delete the library, specify the security for the library, change
|
|
the library, and display the library's description and contents.</p>
|
|
<p><strong>*EXCLUDE authority</strong> prevents users from accessing an object.</p>
|
|
<p>To display the authority associated with your library, you may use the <span class="cmdname">Display
|
|
Object Authority (DSPOBJAUT)</span> command.</p>
|
