<div><p>The figure in this topic shows an example of a multilingual network
with three iSeries™ servers
located in three different countries, each with a different language.</p>
<p>In this example, the application on the Danish system
is using distributed relational database. All national characters (regardless
of the language that the data is stored in) are displayed correctly at the
Danish display. When the CCSID of the language is used by the database, the
integrity of the database is preserved. The conversion of data between the
different code pages is completely automatic and part of the database management.</p>
