<div><p>You can rely on control language (CL) commands, all of which provide
similar information, but in different ways, to give you a view of work on
an <span class="keyword">iSeries™ server</span>. </p>

<li class="ulchildlink"><strong><a href="rbal1workjb.htm">Work with jobs in a distributed relational database</a></strong><br />
The <span class="cmdname">Work with Job (WRKJOB)</span> command presents
the Work with Job menu. This menu allows you to select options to work with
or to change information related to a specified job. Enter the command without
any parameters to get information about the job you are currently using.</li>
<li class="ulchildlink"><strong><a href="rbal1wrkusrj.htm">Work with user jobs in a distributed relational database</a></strong><br />
If you know the user profile (user name) being used by a job, you
can use the <span class="cmdname">Work with User Jobs (WRKUSRJOB)</span> command to
display or change job information. Enter the command without any parameters
to get a list of the jobs in the server with your user profile.</li>
<li class="ulchildlink"><strong><a href="rbal1act.htm">Work with active jobs in a distributed relational database</a></strong><br />
Use the <span class="cmdname">Work with Active Jobs (WRKACTJOB)</span> command
if you want to monitor the jobs running for several users or if you are looking
for a job and you do not know the job name or the user ID.</li>

Use the <span class="cmdname">Work with Commitment Definitions (WRKCMTDFN)</span> command
if you want to work with the commitment definitions on the server.</li>
<li class="ulchildlink"><strong><a href="rbal1usejl.htm">Track request information with the job log of a distributed relational database</a></strong><br />
Every job on the <span class="keyword">iSeries server</span> has
a job log that contains information related to requests entered for a job.</li>
<li class="ulchildlink"><strong><a href="rbal1locatej.htm">Locate distributed relational database jobs</a></strong><br />
When you are looking for information about a distributed relational
database job on an application requester (AR) and you know the user profile
that is used, you can find that job by using the <span class="cmdname">Work with User Jobs
(WRKUSRJOB)</span> command.</li>
