<p>The Create Page Segment (CRTPAGSEG) command creates a page segment space object by copying a user-supplied database file to an internal space object. The user must load the page segment resource into the database from a remote system (such as a System/370) or from an external medium (such as a tape) and must put the resource in the SAA format that can be processed by the operating system.

<p>Specifies the authority you are giving to users who do not have specific authority for the object, who are not on an authorization list, and whose group profile or supplemental group profiles do not have specific authority for the object.
