<p>The <strong>xdr_double_char()</strong> function is a filter primitive that
|
|
translates between C-language 2-byte characters and their external
|
|
representation.</p>
|

<p><strong>Note</strong>: Encoded characters are not packed and occupy 2 bytes
|
|
each. For strings of characters, consider using the
|
|
<strong>xdr_string()</strong> API.</p>
