and returns a handle that can be used to access the table.</p>

<li>The Kerberos runtime supports two key table types: <strong>FILE</strong>

and <strong>WRFILE</strong>. Additional key table types can be registered by

the application by calling the <strong>krb5_kt_register()</strong> routine. If

no type is specified, the default is <strong>FILE</strong>.</li>
