Overview of IBM Survey Creator V1.0

Provides an overview of the IBM^® Survey Creator application and how it interacts with different iSeries™ server components and various software components.

You can use IBM Survey Creator with other business applications to create and manage information. IBM Survey Creator stores information in a universal database (DB2^® UDB for iSeries) and retrieves information through the lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP) server.

The two types of directory servers that are supported by the IBM Survey Creator application are:

• iSeries Directory Server (LDAP)
• LDAP on Domino^® 6.0 for iSeries (Domino Directory services).

The IBM Survey Creator application is installed on your iSeries server and can be deployed into the run time of the following editions of WebSphere^® Application Server:

• WebSphere Application Server for iSeries V5
• WebSphere Application Server for iSeries V5.1
• WebSphere Application Server for OS/400^® V6
• WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment for iSeries V5
• WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment for iSeries V5.1
• WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment for OS/400 V6
• WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries V5
• WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries V5.1
• WebSphere Application Server - Express for i5/OS™ V6
