Use wireless, handheld devices to access and administer your server using the iSeries™ Access for Wireless licensed program.

Wireless clients enable you to access your server from a wireless, handheld device. This gives you the ability to monitor your server while away from the office. You can remotely monitor and manage system performance, status, jobs, messages, and more.

• iSeries Access for Wireless
  IBM iSeries Access for Wireless is your solution for wireless device connectivity. Using the functions of the iSeries Access for Wireless licensed program, you can use your wireless device to access and administer your servers. It consists of iSeries Navigator for Wireless and IBM Toolbox for Java 2 Micro Edition services, which can be used individually, or together, to provide the access you need.
• iSeries Navigator for Wireless
  The iSeries Navigator for Wireless service provides a user interface for performing some systems management activities from wireless, handheld devices.
• IBM Toolbox for Java 2 Micro Edition
  Using the IBM Toolbox for Java 2 Micro Edition service, you can develop Java programs to access servers from wireless, handheld devices.
