TCP/IP troubleshooter

Use the Trace Route (TRACEROUTE) command to identify the problem.

At the command line, type TRACEROUTE. For the Remote system prompt, specify either the host name or IP address for the remote interface.

View the trace route records to see the list of routers your packets encounter along the route. See where the packets are stopping, and contact the administrator for that router to determine why the packets stop there rather than continue to their destination.
