After you have set up the API trace tool you can
now access the log file to begin troubleshooting.
To access this log file, complete the following steps:
- On the character-based interface, enter wrklnk ('home/user profile'), where user profile is the user profile's name.
- On the Work with Object Link dialog box, select Option 5 to display the contents of the trace.txt file stored in that directory.
This shows a portion of an example log file:
