<div><p>Use this record- or field-level keyword to supply a text description
(or comment) for the record format or field that is used for program documentation.</p>

<p>The
text must be enclosed in single quotation marks. If the length
of the text is greater than 50 positions, only the first 50 characters are
used by the high-level language compiler.</p>
<p>Option indicators are not
valid for this keyword.</p>
