TEXT (Text) keyword for display files

Use this record- or field-level keyword to supply a text description (or comment) for the record format or field that is used for program documentation.

TEXT is valid for any record format or field, except a SFLMSGKEY or SFLPGMQ field.

The format of the keyword is:

TEXT('description')

The text must be enclosed in single quotation marks. If the length of the text is greater than 50 positions, only the first 50 characters are used by the high-level language compiler.

Option indicators are not valid for this keyword.
