Why PCs do not connect to your system

If the PCs cannot connect to your server, view the error log for messages about line descriptions and about system reference code AF06.

The reasons why PCs do not connect to your system might be:

You can verify that the above condition occurred by looking in the error log. Use the Start System Service Tools (STRSST) command to look in your error log. To view this log, see Displaying the Product Activity Log.

The above condition can occur if the remote device uses a destination service access point (DSAP) that your line description does not refer to. The condition can also occur if the line description that contains to the correct DSAP, is not in the Switched line list field of the correct controller description. Even if the AF06 system reference code is absent, the error might have occurred. You can resolve this problem by verifying that the adapter address, Source service access point (SSAP), and DSAP values at both ends of the connection are correct.
