Use the LPAR Validation Tool

The LPAR Validation Tool (LVT) emulates an LPAR configuration and validates that the planned partitions are valid. In addition, LVT allows you to test the placement of i5/OS™ and Linux^® hardware within the system to ensure that the placement is valid.
