Each host.domain for which the remote dial-up servers will be retrieving mail must also have MX entries in the DNS pointing to this iSeries server. The iSeries server must also have aliases for these host.domains in its local host table. If the remote dial-up servers are iSeries servers, then they must be configured for scheduled batch ISP e-mail jobs.</p> <p>To service e-mail requests from remote dial-up mail servers, complete the following steps:</p> </div> <ol><li><span>In iSeries Navigator, expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">your iSeries Server</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Network</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Servers</span> > <span class="uicontrol">TCP/IP</span></span>.</span></li> <li><span>Double-click <span class="uicontrol">SMTP</span>. The <span class="wintitle">SMTP Properties dialog</span> appears.</span></li> <li><span>Click the <span class="uicontrol">ETRN</span> tab.</span></li> <li><span>Select the <span class="uicontrol">Support ETRN (Dial-up mail retrieval)</span> check box.</span></li> <li><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">Add</span> to specify your ISP's host and domain name.
