Optional tasks to complete after installation

Verify that the user-defined installation program (QLPUSER) loaded successfully

  1. Select option 50 (Display log for messages) from the GO LICPGM menu.
  2. Verify that the message received is User install processing completed.

Clear two files in the integrated file system if you distributed Infoprint® Designer for iSeries™

Change the electronic customer support data

  1. Change the telephone numbers for service and marketing:
    • Type CALL QESPHONE and press Enter.
    • Type CALL QTIPHONE and press Enter.
  2. Change the information in the contact database to include a person and a voice telephone number at the location of the target system:
    1. Enter the Work with Support Contact Information (WRKCNTINF) command from any command line.
    2. Select option 2 (Work with local service information) on the Work with Support Contact Information display.

Delete your image catalog and images to free up space

To delete the catalog and all the optical images (image files), type the following:
DLTIMGCLG IMGCLG(mycatalog) KEEP(*NO)
