  1. Verify the contents and record a listing of licensed programs on the distribution media cover sheet.
    • If you are using tape, type DSPTAP DEV(TAP01) OUTPUT(*PRINT)
    • If you are using optical, type DSPOPT VOL(volume_id) DEV(OPTxx) DATA(*DIRATR) OUPUT(*PRINT) PATH(*ALL)

  2. Duplicate the media. Make one copy for each target system.
    • Use the Duplicate Tape (DUPTAP) command to duplicate tape.
    • Use the Duplicate Optical (DUPOPT) command to duplicate DVD.
  3. Make copies of the distribution media cover sheet as needed.
  4. Include a cover sheet with each copy of the distribution media. The target systems use the cover sheet to locate a specific licensed program on the distribution media.
