Create a remote system configuration object based on another one
You can copy an existing remote system network server configuration (NWSCFG
subtype RMTSYS) object when creating a new one. This saves time when some
of the new remote system configuration attributes are the same or similar
to the attributes of an existing remote system configuration.
To create a remote system configuration based on an existing one using iSeries™ Navigator, follow these steps:
- Expand Integrated Server Administration.
- Expand iSCSI Connections.
- Select Remote Systems.
- Right-click the remote system configuration to copy from the list available.
- Select New Based On.
- Enter the new remote system configuration Name.
- Specify any other attributes that should be different from the remote
system configuration that is being copied.
- Click OK.
Note:
There is no equivalent CL command for this task.
