Instead of having their own hard disk drives, integrated Windows servers use i5/OS™ disk storage for storing client data and sharing network files. i5/OS disk storage allocated to an integrated server is called network server storage space. The integrated server equivalent of installing a new hard drive in a PC server is to create a network server storage space in i5/OS and link it to an integrated server.
