You can perform the editing operations listed in this topic on
a user-created DBCS conversion dictionary
- Add entries to the dictionary (including adding the first entries to the
dictionary after it is created). The dictionary can contain as many as 99,999
entries.
- Delete entries from the dictionary.
- Change entries in the dictionary, such as replacing the DBCS words related
to an alphanumeric entry.
- Move the DBCS words related to an alphanumeric entry to rearrange the
order in which they appear during DBCS conversion.
The only editing function that you can perform with QSYSIGCDCT,
the server-supplied dictionary, is to move DBCS words related to an alphanumeric
entry. Move words in order to rearrange the order in which they appear during
DBCS conversion.
