Copy a DBCS font table from tape or diskette

You can use the Copy DBCS Font Table (CPYIGCTBL) command to copy a DBCS font table from a tape or a diskette onto the server.

The server automatically creates the DBCS font table again when copying its contents if the following conditions are true:
  • The specified table does not already exist in the server.
  • The media from which you are copying the table contains all of the IBM-defined double-byte characters.
  • SELECT(*ALL) or SELECT(*SYS) is specified on the CPYIGCTBL command.
