Step 2: Install WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries

To install WebSphere Application Server - Express on your iSeries server, complete these steps.

1. Install the prerequisite software. For more information, see Prerequisites for installing WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries.
2. Determine whether or not WebSphere Application Server - Express is preinstalled on your iSeries server
3. Install the correct cumulative PTF package.
4. Install the WebSphere Application Server - Express product.
5. Install additional PTFs required for WebSphere Application Server- Express.
