Manage Enterprise Identity Mapping registry definitions

This information explains how to create and manage the Enterprise Identity Mapping (EIM) registry definitions for those user registries in your enterprise that participate in EIM.

To have user registries and the user identities that they contain participate in an EIM domain you must create registry definitions for them. You can then manage how the user registries and their user identities participate in EIM by managing these EIM registry definitions.

You can perform the following management tasks for registry definitions:

• Add a system registry definition
  
• Add an application registry definition
  
• Add a group registry definition
  
• Add an alias to a registry definition
  
• Define a private user registry type in EIM
  
• Enable mapping lookup support and the use of policy associations for a target registry
  
• Delete a registry definition
  
• Remove an alias from a registry definition
  
• Add a member to a group registry definition
