Trace route from a character-based interface

You can use trace route from a character-based interface to troubleshoot your connectivity problem.

To use trace route from the character-based interface, you can specify the destination system by system name or IP address. Either a valid IPv4 or IPv6 address will be accepted.

Specify any of these examples at the command line:
  • TRACEROUTE SYSNAME
  • TRACEROUTE '10.1.1.1'
  • TRACEROUTE '2001:DB8::1'
