You can use the character-based interface to start TCP/IP.
To start TCP/IP, follow these steps:
- At the command line, type STRTCP.
- Verify that TCP/IP has started. If TCP/IP was already active when
you entered STRTCP, you should receive the message TCP/IP currently
active. If TCP/IP was not active and STRTCP started TCP/IP successfully,
you should receive the message STRTCP completed successfully.
