You might need to change the message logging level to solve the problem.
If you are having problems with TCP/IP or the server jobs, you might need to change the Message logging level text value on the job description or on the active job associated with your TCP/IP server. You should change the Message logging level text value from the default value *NOLIST to *SECLVL. The value *SECLVL causes a job log to be generated. It is helpful to review the job log for messages that can identify problems.
Note that changes to job descriptions do not affect currently running jobs. You must end and then restart the server for the change to take effect.
