Access packet rules

Use the Packet Rules Editor to start creating packet rules on your system.

You must access the Packet Rules Editor through iSeries™ Navigator, the graphical interface that enables you to work with your iSeries resources. You can create a new file, edit an existing one, or you can work with the sample files provided on the system.

To access the Packet Rules Editor, follow these steps:

  1. In iSeries Navigator, expand your server > Network > IP Policies.
  2. Right-click Packet Rules and select Rules Editor.
