The jarsigner tool accesses the keystore, which the keytool creates and manages, when it needs to find the private key for signing a JAR file. In J2SDK, the jarsigner and keytool tools replace the javakey tool. It is compatible with the jarsigner tool that is supplied by Sun Microsystems, Inc.
The jarsigner tool is available using the Qshell Interpreter.
