This topic describes the ixsupdt utility to attain the latest IXS kernel and user-level code.
After you have successfully run the ixssetup.sh script, you must also run the ixsupdt command. This is to ensure that you have the latest IXS kernel and user-level code.
The ixsupdt command must also be run immediately after applying a Linux distribution kernel update and before the server is rebooted. For more details on ixsupdt, see the section titled Maintaining the Linux integration code.
