Uninstall WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries

To remove the entire WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries product, perform these steps from the CL command line on the iSeries server on which the product is installed:

  1. Ensure that your user profile has *ALLOBJ and *JOBCTL authority.

  2. Stop the WebSphere Application Server - Express environment.

    1. Stop your application server. For more information, see Start and test your application server in the Administration topic.
    2. Shut down the QASE51 subsytem. Enter this command at your CL command prompt:
      ENDSBS SBS(QASE51)

  3. When the QASE51 subsystem has ended, use the Delete Licensed Program (DLTLICPGM) command to delete the product.

Note: Deleting the product does not remove the UserData files. If you have no plans to reinstall WebSphere Application Server - Express, you must also delete the UserData files pertaining to WebSphere Application Server - Express. For more information, see Clean up product UserData files.
