Find information on these additional functions provided by the
application: Have Same Manager, View Management Chain, and View Direct Report
Members.
In the IBM® Telephone
Directory V5.2 application, you can view additional information for a search
entry. To view additional search entry information, such as Have Same Manager,
View Management Chain, and View Direct Report Members, perform the following
steps:
- Access the IBM Telephone Directory application by entering the following
URL in your Web browser:
http://your.server.name:port/ibm-bizApps/welcome/home.do
where your.server.name is the name of the server where IBM Telephone Directory V5.2 is installed
and port is the port number that was specified during installation.
- Click IBM Telephone Directory.
- Click Search.
- Enter criteria to search for, and click Search.
- In the search result listing, you can perform these additional
functions:
- View Department Members
- Shows a listing of all members in the same department as the entry. If
this link is disabled (grayed out), the currently displayed listing does not
have a department number or code specified.
- View Management Chain
- Shows a listing of the management reporting structure for the individual.
The listing displays in ascending order, starting with the individual's listing
as the bottom-most entry. If this link is disabled (grayed out), the currently
displayed listing does not have a manager specified.
- View Direct Report Members
- Shows a listing of all individuals who report directly to the one currently
displayed. If the link is disabled (grayed out), the currently displayed listing
is not for a manager.
