iSeries Access for Linux provides the following new functions in version 1.10.
Kerberos is a security solution that provides authentication tools over the network to help secure your business information.
Single signon uses Kerberos to help you simplify your local business environment, securely. Single signon support allows your users to enter a single password to access multiple systems, while ensuring the same security as entering multiple passwords for multiple systems.
Bypass signon uses password encryption to skip the 5250 signon screen.
iSeries Access for Linux information is new to the Information Center his release. It was previously documented on the iSeries Access for Linux Web site.
IBM® iSeries Access for Linux (www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/access/linux/) provides the latest information about iSeries Access for Linux functions.
