WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries was tested on a specific i5/OS cumulative PTF package level. To determine if the correct i5/OS cumulative PTF package is installed on your server, perform the these steps:
Sign onto your iSeries server.
Enter the Display PTF Status (DSPPTF) command on an CL command line. The Display PTF Status screen is displayed. This screen lists the PTFs that have been applied to your server.
Here is an example of the Display PTF status screen:

In the example, the first PTF that is listed, TL02036 (with a status of Temporarily applied), correlates to the cumulative PTF that is installed on the server.
