TCP/IP troubleshooter

Verify that IP addresses are listed for the Domain Name System (DNS) servers that your server is using to resolve host names.

Follow these steps:

  1. From the Configure TCP/IP menu, select option 12 (Change TCP/IP domain information).
  2. At the bottom of the Change TCP/IP Domain (CHGTCPDMN) display, verify that the IP addresses for your DNS servers are specified for the Domain name server, Internet address prompt.

Are there IP addresses listed for the DNS servers?
