Manage a pool's configuration

To change a pool's size, activity level or paging option, use iSeries™ Navigator or character-based interface commands.

iSeries Navigator

To access a shared pool's configuration values by using iSeries Navigator, do the following:
  1. In iSeries Navigator, expand My Connections > server > Work Management > Memory Pools > Active Pools or Shared Pools.
  2. Right-click the pool that you want to tune and click Properties.
  3. Click the Configuration tab.
From the Shared Properties - Configuration window you can manually adjust specific values such as a pool's size, activity level or paging option.
