Create the SNA device description

The device description identifies the communications device that is used by the remote device. There are no LAN-specific parameters in the device description. To create the SNA device description, complete the following steps:

  1. Find the create command to use. Use the GO CMDDEV command to view of list of available commands.
  2. Type the name of the command and press F4 (Prompt).
  3. Type the name of the device description into the corresponding field.

  4. Press Enter twice to create the description.
