Ensure that the iSeries™ server meets the minimum system requirements to work with packet rules.
To function properly on your iSeries, packet rules requires the following products:
- OS/400® Version 5 Release 2 (5722-SS1), i5/OS™ Version 5 Release 3, or later.
- iSeries Access
for Windows® (5722-XE1)
and iSeries Navigator
- Network component of iSeries Navigator
- TCP/IP (5722-TC1) must be configured, including IP interfaces, routes, local host name, and local domain name.
