You can use Application Administration to identify which functions
a user or group may access. You can also customize access for a user or group
to specific functions.
To do this, follow these steps:
- In iSeries™ Navigator,
expand Users and Groups.
- Select All Users, Groups,
or Users Not in a Group to display a list of users
and groups.
- Right-click a user or group, and select Properties.
- Click Capabilities.
- Click the Applications tab.
- Use this page to change the access setting for a user or group.
- Click OK twice to close the Properties dialog.

Note: In
certain cases, a user may have read-only allowed access. This occurs when
a function has all object access and the user has all object system privilege.
